This happened recently for me when I rewatched Donald Sutherland in Don’t Look Now. The first 10-15 minutes of that film is a masterclass in foreshadowing.

I am partial to those that take artistic risks, such as Rocketman (Elton John), Behind the Candelabra (Liberace), and Ray. Also thought Walk the line (Cash) was good. Each of these benefited from superb lead performances.
