What is a collision?
From Mario bouncing off a Goomba to two cars bumping into each other in a racing
game, dealing with collisions is such an integral part of most video games that
we often take it for granted.

Alright, let me introduce myself on this platform. I'm Kai. I really like programming. Here's a list of projects I've done:
A highly interactive blog post about 2D collision resolution in video games. I hope to finish part 2 this year, but no promises 🙈

I recently started playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and holy shit. I don't use this term lightly, but this game is *art*! The opening sequence genuinely made me tear up. And don't even get me started on the OST

I've been lifting weights pretty consistently for about 7 months. Yesterday, one of my volleyball teammates randomly came up to me and asked me if my arms have always been this muscular.
I'll be riding that high for the next year or two.

I think I might make another YouTube video soon. I've started creating these visualizations for myself because I'm bad at doing projective geometry in my head and I think it's actually a really cool topic.
(it may not look like it yet, but this is actually about the cross product)

Still super proud of this video I made 2 years ago. Views have kinda flat-lined so I'm posting it again because dammit I want people to see it!

Reading through the syllabus, I’m incredibly excited about getting started. But there’s this very bittersweet note of knowing that I’ve missed the window where I would’ve been able to study full time.
Alright I've decided. Enrolling for next year's summer semester.
I’m seriously considering getting a bachelor in mathematics just for the hell of it. Not for the degree but because I’m super interested. Realistically, this would take me around 6 years because I would be studying part time.
