This may be a completely boring observation, but as someone who grew up in Dutch Reformed culture, the Dutch Reformed do not often understand this connection to segregation in the American South (we've been doing Christian schools much longer than that).
That's been a blind spot imo.

I am currently reading this book, it is definitely one of the most life-giving books I've read lately. KJ Ramsey writes truth beautifully!

First meeting tonight for the domestic abuse book study I'm hosting. It will be a small group, but the discussion was wonderful and encouraging. Pray that God uses this to create positive change where needed, and encourage those who have been discouraged by how the church responds to abuse.
