They really are wonderfully weird. I ended up with one with no sense of heights or basic logic but also somehow a deep understanding of whenever I was upset? He was the best buddy for 9 years and I think I’ll always have a soft spot for them now

My Christmas presents to my Dad and sister from @nora.zone arrived! I could not have gotten these if not for their trans gift card program (and also @antigrinch.bsky.social). They’re absolutely perfect.

This is Zeus. He was my best friend and the reason @antigrinch.bsky.social made this post. He was the best boy and he died 5/23/2023; a year ago tomorrow. He kept me alive and sane(ish) in an empty house from 11-18. He should still be here, he was only 9, but cancer didn’t care. It still hurts.

Throwing my hat in the ring with another lizard because why not. This is Zeus, who passed in May of this year from cancer. (His colors aren’t super accurate in this one, but it’s my favorite picture I have of him; I’m gonna reply to this skeet with better color references if you’re interested)

Yep! Capes attach to a harness, vests are standalone. Though I have to admit I love the idea of Marigold in a super hero cape. She already has a cloak, as befitting my Sith Lady on Duty

The grief is the worst when I’m alone, because that’s when I’d have you on me all day. An entire month and then some, and it still hasn’t stopped hurting. I don’t know if it will ever stop hurting. I miss you, Zeus. I wish I’d talked about you more while you were here. I wish more people knew you.
