On the one hand, work being busy again means I… actually have to work. On the other hand it’s a distraction from all *gestures* this, which, as a Fed, I appreciate. I think “just focus on the work” is my mantra for the next 4 years.

Humble brag? I really love my current story. And considering I really DIDNT like the last thing I wrote and it ended up being more of an obligation than fun, this is a particularly lovely feeling. Write what you wanna write, and fuck the haters. ✌️

My new philosophy to not force writing is proving to be fruitful. After lying low all weekend, I’ve written 1600 words today. Just let it flow!

Two years ago today, I decided to post a silly little idea about Ted and Rebecca watching Gilmore Girls had on A03. Something was untapped inside me I didn’t know was there, and it’s been so fun writing for them ever since. (And yes, I promise to get back to the Mary Poppins AU very soon!)
