Point being - no one should have to choose between which layer maslow's pyramid they can afford this month, and especially defeating knowing you work hard every single day to make ends meet and still have to choose.

This is the reality of many americans now. I've been very privilaged to not have to choose between these things for quite some time, but to suddonly come back to it is more defeating than I'd like to admit.

Really enjoyed hyprlands performance but it needs everything else to reduce some cognitive load at least on me.

COSMICs ability to switch or set tiling vs floating preferences in a per workspace setting with GUI toggles is absolutely glorious. It’s the thing i was missing in hyprland.

Its almost too bad that most of my philosophy on these things seems to be antithetical to massive profit and shareholder returns.
God fucking forbid I look out for the people who use these tools.

This is great for “engagement” and boosting your numbers, but for users? It just makes communication more fractured and more complicated.
