“Dry cleaning” is just using brake cleaner to wash your clothes. It’s an oil based solvent that is an extremely effective surfactant. “Dry” because no water is used. Downside it’s flammable as fuuuuck and probably someone once put it in their dryer at home.

BG1 & 2 are absolute gems. I have the BG2 CDs somewhere in my computer horde. At times, I do miss the days where you’d have to swap the disks between regions of the game.

If the age of the cheap x86 hardware is over - at least we might see software performance increase as a result across the board.

You can buy it all up quickly (happening). Loosing long term strategy IMHO. I don’t think that’ll last us another hw release cycle year.
You can reduce your demand - either putting off projects (happening), or double down on efficiency.

While its not a software dev solution to a hardware problem im going for here.

It’s a system of flows. If the cost of DRAM stays high, there’s pressure to reduce that pain.
