All the risk is on me - even if I’m laid off, or let go without cause!
Im debating even negotiating this, and just walking, given the culture that must exist for this to be a standard practice for them.

But the terms also dictate that, If for any reason, I decide I don’t want to be at that company anymore -or- if let go for any reason - I’m barred from working in the same industry for 12 months.

I finally get an offer worth my time, after 3 months of unemployment and I’m about to walk from it on principle.
Nothing I do is necessarily proprietary. and ill state clearly - i have no issue with non-disclosure and protecting their IP

“Dry cleaning” is just using brake cleaner to wash your clothes. It’s an oil based solvent that is an extremely effective surfactant. “Dry” because no water is used. Downside it’s flammable as fuuuuck and probably someone once put it in their dryer at home.

BG1 & 2 are absolute gems. I have the BG2 CDs somewhere in my computer horde. At times, I do miss the days where you’d have to swap the disks between regions of the game.
