Art made by people will always be superior to the souless nature of ai, starting by the fact that people can make something new. Ai is literally inbreeding as far as I know, it's run out of people's artwork and is now copying itself here and there. Keep up at it man, your art is phenomenal and fun.

That sounds awful, specially since art should be fulfilling and rich for oneself rather than a source of stress because of what you mentioned. Is that issue exclusive to professional artists by the way? Or does it affect all artists in general?

Ah, I wouldn't know much about societal pressure. Would the popularization of ai be one of them? I mostly want to draw to pass the time, and bring my own characters to life. I really love your style and aspire to have a similar one in the future, that's about it!

Thank you very much for your replies! I think what I'll ultimately do is use them to get the base, and then apply anatomy to it as I learn it. I hope you have a great day dude, I'm a huge fan and I loved talking to you!

And I have the sensation that these 3d models could be a good tool for that.

I haven't tried them yet, but I feel like these 3d models could be an easier and more accessible way to start off, and begin practicing things that do attract me more. I began drawing because you inspired me to do so, but I want to have fun while drawing and improving at character making.

I know, it's just that the idea of having to practice them for so long, as in months or years feels... daunting. I know that's a bad thing to think, but these 3d models feel like a godsend when it comes to start practicing on character creation.

Absolutely! I mean, even as a beginner, I can tell that just tracing the model and adding hair and facial features would make the overall drawing look flat. I just kind of want to cheat a little and not draw boxes for a long, long time just to get a body going, y'know?

I'm someone who struggles deeply with thinking in 3d, so using these models to get an overall silhouette for the bodies seems like a great tool to have. I just want to make characters first and foremost really!

I understand! Would it be alright to use it as the base of the drawing? What I mean to say is; rather than tracing over the 3d model and call it a day, would it be proper to trace over it, make small adjustments to make it less stiff and robotic, and then applying other fundamentals to that base?

Sorry for asking a few days later after this response, but what do you think of tracing 3D models as a beginner? I'm a new artist, and I was considering using them to simply have a base to work with, just to be able to learn other things such as anatomy, faces, shading..
