Also, I forgot that these little fairy dragons have the same wings as some of the feral fairies! I doubt they'd encounter a situation where they'd actually wind up glowing during regular wear, but they do glow! 🧶

Then I realized that I probably wouldn't make it through a 3 day market while explaining to everyone who asked what a seazard was. So I made a giant sea monster and decided they were the babies.

And they are so much fun to make that I can't seem to stop, so expect to see more of them!

Friends told me they reminded them of seals, slugs, lizards, and a few other things. I started calling them seazards, because why not?

So this became my new way to use up my scrap clay (also, it took like a week for me to heal, so I had time to make A LOT of them). With some of the non-shimmery ones you can see what projects they come from. 🧶

Mostly it's little scraps of random colors I've mixed, what's leftover from canes, and pieces of things I'm considering. Back in October when I pulled a muscle making that peacock tail feather cane, I wanted to make something small, and these two were made with some scraps. 🧶

This little dragon is all magic! It is one of the most dramatically iridescent of the bunch, turning from a sky blue to aqua to purple depending on the light. It is holding a glittering lavender Rivoli crystal that picked up blue as it sparkles as well. This handmade dragon is one of a kind, made with polymer clay, two Prestige Rivoli crystals, and rhinestones for eyes. Painted with gloss glaze to keep it from spreading glitter wherever it goes. A red panda fairy with a heart shaped nose, sparkly eyes, and glowing butterfly-style wings. Their arms are held in the air showing off their heart paw pads, ready to come in for a hug, or perhaps an attack - no way to know which! I knew I wanted to make something wrapped in lights for weeks, but couldn't quite picture it. I considered different animals (and wound up with Dominick the Donkey stuck in my head for way too long...). When I could finally see it, I started immediately. It did not look too impressive at first. 😂🧶
