I’m always surprised it’s the NFL that gets attacked and not the NBA? Obviously neither should be but the NBA-outside of the owners-is VERY in touch with black culture, or at least as much as a league that starts at millionaires and only gets richer can be

I might have lost the point a bit at the end there so a better comparison would be the assertion that people always make that people in older times cared about their children much less for some reason? And it’s just, never been borne out by actually looking into actual historical accounts.

There’s also the logical follow through of that idea of assuming men don’t care about their families? We know men care about their families, for better or worse a lot-even if you could probably(?) call it a minority-of men find meaning in being providers and will put their heads down to do it
