Oof, sorry, that's brutal. I almost always default to my stand mixer, but every now and then there's something it won't work for (like when you have to whisk something on the stovetop).

I've been on a macaron-baking kick recently, which requires a lot of egg whites but no yolks. The solution? Tart with a curd filling! This was made with the last good pomegranates from our tree and I’m obsessed with the color.
