PhD re enrolment is with the admissions team now. Fingers crossed I can submit my thesis before Christmas shutdown!

So so proud of my amazing colleague I’ve been supervising through Board Certification- her first submission passed first time! Wonderful news!

Oh god it’s never ending- my poor PhD supervisor has to submit a completely brand new form due to me re-enrolling at uni again to submit my thesis. Just nervous because the uni shuts down for Christmas on the 20th!

Absolute heaven- working in the backyard with a light drizzle of rain and a sleepy puppy beside me at a job I adore. Loving being able to work from home three times a week but also still able to go into the office and see patients clinically. Couldn’t be happier right now.

Does anyone have good resources to teach about the JEDI principles? Justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion- I am teaching a course in Hong Kong next year to Masters students and am looking for inspiration!

What a day! Amazing feedback from two patients! Although I’m obsessively checking my email as I’m waiting for my supervisor to sign off on my PhD thesis for submission- can’t wait! Think there’s a glass of wine waiting for me after work today!

Second day here on blue sky! I e followed all the genetic counsellors I’ve been suggested and hyping myself up for work reading genetics themed content. I have two appointments today- one for reproductive counselling (monomaniac disorder in family) and a result for an MSH6 predictive.
