‘When they learnt to carry both lullabies and the scream of falling steel’ My heart broke reading this…. You weave the reality of having to keep going… making bread … with the horror. And the ending on the back of all of that… humanity does get through but at what price. 👏

The ‘secret challenge’. This is beautiful… speaks of a mother’s love and the realities of parenting in a war zone. Really spoke to me. Through the eyes of a child.. beautiful and haunting.
