I have no doubt that it’s bruising from an iv or blood draws, but I do wonder why they wouldn’t stick him in less visible areas, or even place a port if he needs that many sticks.

We’re lucky to have the space, plus a catio. I get why people let them out, though. Gotta keep their little predator minds sharp, lol. Generally, I’d say it’s less ethical to not keep kitties as pets, since they’ve evolved to be pets, not wild creatures. Like what happened to pigeons.

I have seven well-loved & highly appreciated cats, so I don’t mean it in a sanctimonious way, but I do worry about the ethics of keeping these natural predators in my home. To combat my worries, we provide as big of a life as we can for them & consider it a privilege.
