Based on a real life story, a flawed but deeply emotional portrait of Nicole Paultre-Bell rising from grief to activism after Sean Bell’s killing. Rayven Symone Ferrell grounds it with honesty and heart. The final time-lapse wrecked me. Review: sarahgvincentviews.com/movies/after...

Rian Johnson put his whole foot in Glass Onion: hilarious, sharp, gorgeous, and way too prophetic about tech bros & chaos. Rewatched it after the third film and it holds up even better. My fave of the franchise.

The third Knives Out is the weakest but still an entertaining, big-hearted mystery with a bold moral swing, great cast work, and Daniel Craig & Josh O’Connor making an unexpectedly perfect duo.

The less you know going in, the better. “Hamnet” (2025) sweeps you into a wild romance that transforms into a meditation on grief, memory, & the art that outlives us. Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal anchor the visually stunning, emotionally raw film. Full review: sarahgvincentviews.com/movies/hamnet/

“Eternity” (2025) is a delightful, crowd-pleasing afterlife rom-com where souls pick their forever destination like it’s a resort. Elizabeth Olsen must choose between two husbands. Miles Teller & Da'Vine Joy Randolph are scene stealers. Full review: sarahgvincentviews.com/movies/etern...

Benedict Cumberbatch does his best, but “The Thing With Feathers” collapses under its own abstract, self-serious weight. A grief story with no names, no subtlety, and a human-sized crow doing the heavy lifting. Full review: sarahgvincentviews.com/movies/the-t...

In "Rebuilding," Dusty (Josh O’Connor) loses his ranch and finds community, hope, and unexpected beauty in a FEMA trailer camp. A luminous, heartwarming story of resilience and human connection. Full review: sarahgvincentviews.com/movies/rebui...

Rental Family follows Phillip Vandarpleog (Brendan Fraser) as he acts a part in ordinary people's lives in Japan and discovers connection, loss, and the magic of everyday life. Heartwarming, quietly devastating, and visually stunning. Full review: sarahgvincentviews.com/movies/renta...

Unpopular opinion: "Wicked: For Good" is the rare sequel that outshines the 1st. Cynthia Erivo dominates. Ariana Grande-Butera weaponizes charm. Michelle Yeoh menaces. Jonathan Bailey & Goldblum are still hot. Sharp, messy, & surprisingly human. Read my review: sarahgvincentviews.com/movies/wicke...

“Jay Kelly” is Noah Baumbach’s glossy, lengthy portrait of an actor who finally realizes fame cost him every real relationship. George Clooney fits the role a little too well while Sandler quietly steals every scene. Poignant, indulgent & longer than necessary

“Peter Hujar’s Day” is a cinematic time capsule: intimate, chatty, and demanding your undivided attension. Making the ordinary feel quietly extraordinary, Ben Whishaw and Rebecca Hall disappear into the moment.
