I didn’t until I did a little research after I finished the book

when I read this I couldn’t help but think about how I often feel like I’m supposed to find my purpose in life/show my value, and how that often leads me to resentment when I come up empty

but maybe I’m valuable because I am, in and of myself. maybe I’m not a means to an end.
