One way we have decided to try and help others during this time is by signing up for our local CSA! Everyone needs produce in our life and this supports our farmers and local businesses when they need it most!

Yesterday was my last class for Intro to Social Psych. I ended with a quote from Stanley Milgram (the shock experiment author). This study stresses how easily it is for us to be persuaded to do bad things. But I reminded my class that we all have the freedom to do what is right. #psychology

The world lost a truly incredible person too soon. Sam Sommers was more than just an advisor for me, and I know he inspired so many others. I am so thankful to have talked with him last week before his surgery where he reminded me how important the work and mentoring we do is…1/2

My first coffee hour for my intro to social class was a big success! This is honestly one of the best things I have added to my teaching here at Duke, way less pressure for students to come hang out and ask questions about life or anything!

A belated thank you to Dr Alesha Bond from Davidson for visiting us in our #brownbag series! It was so fun learning more about her work on how we categorize stereotypical and less stereotypical faces—both adult faces and kid faces! #psychology
