Turning my office into a science experiment as the seeded paper I'm making for a conference workshop starts sprouting.

In our final Extracts reading group we explored recycling & so I raided the twins' easter egg pile for foil. Making a tree out of easter egg wrappers is surprisingly hard! But I love the tree that lingers in the shadows. A wonderful group to learn with extractivistlandscapes.com/extracts-rea...

In the Extracts reading group today, Dr Ashley Cahillane gave us a prompt to create shadow art. Inspired by Kentridge's mining account book charcoals, I used the toddler toys in my office to create shadow art on the mining service records of my Irish grandfather who worked on S. African gold mines

To celebrate Mother's Day yesterday I ran my first half marathon since the twins' arrival. Training in Dublin's winter left a lot to be desired, but I actually made it with some time to spare!

Twins turned 3 yesterday and while I'm not sure my brain will ever recover from what 3 years of complete sleep deprivation has done to it, they are delightfully hilarious and give the best hugs without a doubt 💙💙
