In the Extracts reading group today, Dr Ashley Cahillane gave us a prompt to create shadow art. Inspired by Kentridge's mining account book charcoals, I used the toddler toys in my office to create shadow art on the mining service records of my Irish grandfather who worked on S. African gold mines

To celebrate Mother's Day yesterday I ran my first half marathon since the twins' arrival. Training in Dublin's winter left a lot to be desired, but I actually made it with some time to spare!

Twins turned 3 yesterday and while I'm not sure my brain will ever recover from what 3 years of complete sleep deprivation has done to it, they are delightfully hilarious and give the best hugs without a doubt 💙💙
