I can’t decide whether this is more or less surprising and exciting that Takahashi

Students can pick up on underlying positive energy even when we feel like we aren’t showing it or don’t even have it. It’s really incredible.

I’ve learned that if ChatGPT doesn’t know the answer to the coding issue after two or three iterations, it never will and it’s best to abandon course. Hope you find good help from your human supporters!

Oooh! Very excited to listen to this one

I remember there was also a time when everyone assumed machine learning meant artificial neural networks (because that was the big Silicon Valley-driven innovation of the day). What we are seeing is part of a totally predictable problematic pattern but on a much wider scale

(And I do agree with your point about the trend of de-centering and de-valuing the people doing the work)

💯 and I push for this with my collaborators and as a reviewer

One of the other big differences I noticed was how much more time they spent on Dulcy night 2. It’s like they swapped their Gabbie airtime for Dulcy

She got some good airtime on Friday night too!

Oh that makes much more sense 😂

Have you done anything with how movement ecology impacts fisheries? How that data is collected alone is super cook.

At the same time? 😱 impressive!

Do you have any insight on the outlook on programs through places like NITMB? I was invited to a workshop there in July but I’m worried 😬
