She was so attached to me that it was actually less stressful for her to come with when I went home to BC for visits than to stay with sitters at home. We did live there for her first 2 years and she remembered the house.

Losing her was awful, but I wouldn't trade her for anything. 💜

She and her littermates were found alone in a public park, so it's no wonder she had some extra quirks.

I met over a dozen kittens that day, and I was prepared for it to take some time to find the right one. But I just couldn't get her little face out of my head that night. Called the next day.

Missing my soul cat today, 5 years after she died.

Violet was ~difficult~ and also perfect. She didn't like / was scared of most people. She would bite if you crossed the line. She greeted me at the door when I got home. She loved to be the little spoon at bedtime.

Freya is exactly like that. She loves me and likes one of my neighbours. If anyone else is nearby, she will bolt and hide under the bed until they've been gone at least 20 minutes. She has known to be under there for over 6 hours.
