We expect Philly is going to be right up there with the best 🥇🥊 - but we wouldn't know (yet!), because we're still seeking support to complete the Philly Metro Zoning Atlas. Stay tuned and we'll update when we start there. (And - if anyone has funding tips, DM me!)

Yes, I am following! The Living New Deal team is doing good work trying to raise awareness about this. There is a Section 106 angle that is worth their pursuing.

Ha thank you! :)

Exactly. No one in Congress would have thought this was even a possibility. Time to change the rules.

Maybe not suing the NPS, but I think there might be a path. Working through it tonight with some dedicated preservationists/Americans. Because we can't let this stand.

IMO a building-code @zoningatlas.bsky.social w/the same detail wouldn't really be worth the effort, because building codes are relatively uniform across jurisdictions (adopted at state level, only modest local deviations)... a better project is infiltrating the closed fora in which they're written.

Oh no!! Then definitely don't go to Deep Suburbia, or 🤯. DC's zoning is actually pretty permissive compared to other US cities...

FYI @yonahfreemark.com & Lydia Lo gave us a running start on DC analysis (see /external-contributors). We wanted it up b/c NZA is headquartered in DC!
