I’ve been digitizing my grandad’s #WW2 diaries. It’s taken me about 3 years on and off and I finally finished today. It starts 6th Aug 1942 and ends 24th Jun 1945. He was in Durban, Egypt, Palestine, Italy and Greece. Not sure what I’ll do with it now. Here’s the entry from 80 years ago today.

Don’t often get clear skies in #bangkok but it’s looking like I might be able to get the telescope out for a couple of weeks. These from the last time the telescope was out 2 years ago; Moon, Jupiter, Saturn and Sun #astrophotography

Spent a couple of hours at the #Woodworking Thai Exhibition at Royal River Hotel #Bangkok. A few craft activities to do and courses to sign up for. I’m gonna take the course to make a guitar. About 5 to 6 months if you go once a week.
