To be honest , might not be the worst thing. I think we have gone a bit stagnant in this rigid 4-3-3. A change of system may freshen us up. Could go something like this:

Yea, that's definitely a good point. Hadn't he been called up for the U21's? Might get some minutes there.

It is a shame. He's been brilliant for us since he signed. But I agree, our back 4 has to be Tino, Thiaw, Botman, Hall. How much of a good footballing back 4 is that. All so comfortable on the ball.

You think he will go 5 at the back this season you mean?

Looks like the same predictable line up. Hall also needs to be in.

I got absolutely slated after the Barcelona game for suggesting he's the next one to replace for us to go up a level. We definitely need a midfielder that can unlock a low block, for situations exactly like yesterday, packed boxes

Murphy really affected the game when he came on. I think Elanga is limited to games where teams are stepping on to us and there is plenty of space in behind.

I did think his passing wasn't at it's best yesterday. Might have heavy legs as he played Wednesday, suppose he's is 34.

Hang on , first of all. What gives you the right to come on peoples posts and say "people like you" and "calm the fuck down" just because I have a different opinion to you?! What's wrong with having healthy discussions with fellow fans? I think it's you that needs to "calm the fuck down".

Just looking back at the squads of the early 2000's and your probably right. Had great players but not the quality and depth we have now

Probably managing intensity as needed.

Yea, I've noticed that. He always seems to be available too. Great talent.

It's looking like we should be able to? Why will he need to play the next 2?

Think he's worried about him playing too much football and picking up an injury. We would then be scuppered.
