Always thought TAMU was weird #CollegeFootball - this incident is somewhat true (multiple towns were not taken over)

The passage from Revenge of the Sith novel describes Order Sixty-Six as the climax of the Clone Wars—not its end, but the moment everything the war was truly about comes to fruition. The Clone Wars were never meant to be a heroic or meaningful conflict; instead, they were deliberately designed by the Sith as a trap to destroy the Jedi. From the beginning, the war was engineered to spread the Jedi thin across distant battlefronts, isolating them with clone troops they believed were allies. The war clouded the Force and dulled Jedi senses, leaving them vulnerable. When Order Sixty-Six is executed, the clones—without hatred or warning—turn on the Jedi. Across the galaxy, in a single coordinated moment, Jedi are ambushed and killed by the very troops they led. In essence, the Clone Wars existed solely to enable this betrayal. They were not a noble struggle, but the calculated revenge of the Sith.
