To be fair, in 2020 it was common for people to wear protective facial coverings to prevent and Control Disease. This brief period of giving a fuck worked so well it almost put over the counter drug manufactures out of business and killed off a flu strain.

My grandparents were children in 1917. Three of them died of disease in their 40’s.

Family members with it right now. One pediatric case ended up in hospital. Vaccinated family member with a bad case as well. Masking appears preventative for me so far.
