I Came to Australia by boat. Believe in the land of the fair go. Want a Treaty with Australia's First Peoples. Love elections.
I’m at Kiama on the land of the Wodi Wodi.
If you put your fingers in your ears and say LaLaLaLaLa loudly enough and for long enough, eventually the interviewer will give up and bring the interview to an end.

A brilliant cartoon Cathy. Norman Gunston is rightly included.
Gunston highlighted the surreal nature of that day. I did not feel surprised,or that he was out of place, when he too appeared on the steps of parliament.

When you have an absolute monarch as your brother, he can take away your birthright.
Look what Henry VIII did to his wives.

The beauty of a Herald was that you unclipped the bonnet and tipped the whole thing forwards to get at the engine.
I would sit on one front wheel and watch my mate sitting on the other while he changed the blown head gasket for me.

Ah! A Triumph Herald Vitesse. Way above my pay grade back in the day.

I drove a Triumph Herald convertible in the second half of the 1960s and early 70s.
Now there was a car, once I threw away the thermostat.
