For the most part I’ve liked the long dialogues. Only some parts I’m like okay wrap it up 😂 I want to get to Anna Karenina next year

This is my first lengthy Russian lit, and I’d say it’s been a pretty accessible journey. It can be dense in some parts. Dialogue can run on for pages and pages 😭 but I haven’t had a hard time understanding what’s going on

Ah! I hope they do. I was lucky to be able to thrift it. Reminded me a lot of “Against the Loveless World” by Susan Abulhawa

It’s been a long way coming lol. I’ve been slowly making my way through since July. Reading other books between has helped me push through. Now it’s getting exciting!
