I've got no other place to go 🌙✨💜

I'm just your friendly neighborhood genshin lore yapper and appreciator.

I talk a lot about honkai and genshin!
She/Her, 24. Autistic.
Clarification: nothing's bad with wanting Columbina to follow her hcs. Criticizing without any base is.

It took me SO long

That's it, everyone. Kisses. Don't talk trash about Genshin lore without knowing what you're saying.

The fact is, we've also become a bit discouraged regarding our twin—this has been happening for a while—but we keep looking. It has always been hard to get information, and we've always solved everyone else's problems before getting what we need. This isn't new in Genshin; it's simply the plot.
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
That part was indeed negative since it was never explicitly said we arrived in a ship, but since I'm talking about getting information here, I won't go into that topic.
And in Nod-Krai, we ALSO see our twin and get information about them. So, what do you mean Sumeru was the last time?
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
In Fontaine Interlude quest (I think), we physically see our sibling because of the Loom of Fate. We discover a lot, even if we forget everything we saw and what happened, but we did get information.

Not to mention the last mission in Natlan, where we meet our twin & find out about the spaceship.

This has been a plot point SINCE Mondstadt. It's not new. We’ve always been involved in the story while receiving very little.

Usually, the biggest answers are precisely in Dainsleif's quests, and we get a lore drop in every single one of them. Sumeru wasn't the last one;
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
That hasn't changed, and guess what? We always get answers, even if they are useless. This was even an argument Dottore used against us: he says we do stuff, and yet we still haven't found our sibling.
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
Plus, we've had a connection to the world since the very beginning due to being Descenders; it's a fact that we still have a lot of lore to discover about ourselves and Teyvat.

However, since the beginning, we've been doing favors for others in search of answers.

3 — About our Sibling

You can't compare our first arrival in Teyvat—when we were desperate, alone in a new world knowing nothing and no one—with a progress of six nations, where we are deeply intertwined with the entire history of Teyvat.

Just look at how she acts around those two and her lines about Signora; it's noticeable that she has affection for all her friends, especially since she never had friends before.
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
Her relationships with Sandrone, Arlecchino, and Signora are often mentioned, and she is as close to them as she is to us. So it’s a Columbina trait, not something reserved only for the Traveler.
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
Now calling everything "waifubait" has become a trend; any character who is slightly friendlier is "bait." Funny how people don't say that about the male characters who hit on the Traveler, huh?

Furthermore, Columbina is sweet to those close to her.
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
Besides, the scene where she makes the flowers turn red because she doesn't trust us and didn't like being linked to the Fatui DOES speak to that "scary" side mentioned by Childe and Wanderer—who, surprise, didn't really know her.
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
Guess what? This is how Columbina is presented to us. The view of someone close to her, not someone who only saw one side. Columbina is exactly like that: spacey, quiet. Unpredictable. This can be seen in how she dodged our questions and easily got lost in her own thoughts while she didn't trust us.

"Oh, but this was added in Nod-Krai—"

Here is Arlecchino’s voiceline about Columbina, added when Arle was released:
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
Because of this, she kept to herself. Childe and Wanderer only saw one facet of her: the one she showed to those she didn't trust or have intimacy with. On the other hand, Signora, Sandrone, and Arlecchino were indeed close to Columbina, and their relationship was COMPLETELY different.
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
Columbina wasn't close to those two. In fact, she mostly kept to herself, distant, especially due to the feeling of not belonging to this world—the feeling that she was used as a mere tool her whole life. From Nod-Krai to the Fatui, she was only used for her power.

2 — Columbina and her flaws.

For God's sake, if you got attached to a fandom headcanon, the one who's wrong is you.

"Oh, but Childe said—" "Oh, but Scara said—"
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
There was NEVER any hint that Sandrone was merely interested in the same things as him. She is simply withdrawn and hostile. That’s it; she’s not a lunatic.
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
Dottore is astute, shrewd, and intelligent; he puts his research above all else and casts limits aside because he believes limits are pathetic and shouldn't be considered or respected. He sees the gods as equals, for example, so he doesn't follow the boundaries imposed by the world.
February 1, 2026 at 7:03 AM
Sandrone finally saw something she considered more important than herself: her companions. She finally found her desire.
This isn't "waifubait," for God's sake. Besides, it was NEVER mentioned that she and Dottore had mutual interests.

Their personalities have been worlds apart from the start.
