Santander should bounce back this year, I think they should wait till the trade deadline to decide. If he does bounce back they can decide do they need his bat or is there another piece they need more? I think Berrios history will hold up for his trade value.

Who? Framber Valdez? The guy purposely threw at his catcher after giving up a grand slam. The Jays value clubhouse culture, Valdez doesn't fit with that. Cease was rated 2nd to only Valdez as best arms available. They got the guy they wanted. All the armchair analysts second guessing them.

Who cares if they overpaid him? A lot of people said they overpaid Vladdy too. They got the man they wanted at a price they were willing to pay. They're a wealthy team and still have lots left to pay Bo and anyone else they want.

Blue Jays were consdered the favorite on Pete Alonso, Alex Bregman. Teo Hernandez. Corbin Burnes and Blake Snell among others last year. None of them panned out, don't believe the rumours.

I think their agents just throw this stuff out there to keep their client's name on every story. I think the Jays are prioritizing Bo over any one else besides pitching. Most likely the three Japanese players will be the first ones signed, they are on 45 day windows. Probably with California teams
