A belated post for #Halloween. I enjoyed making this one! Who else loves #illustratedletters #kidlitart
Illustrated letters spelling out the words 'Happy Halloween'. 'H' is drawn like a bat, 'A' as a ghost, 'P' as an arm coming out of the ground holding a very curved dagger. Another 'P' forms a face of a vampire-Frankenstein looking woman, followed by 'Y' which looks like a glass of drink with an eyeball floating in it gripped by the aforementioned woman. For Halloween - the 'H' is drawn as a spider with its arms raised, 'A' as a ghost, 'L' as an arm coming out of the ground, 'L' and 'O' drawn connected as a worm coming out of a pumpkin, 'W' as a snake with a head at both ends, 'E' as a 3 fingered hand, 'E' as itself with a scared expression and 'N' is formed by bones.

Some things I did this week:
- #Painted little pumpkins with poster paints 🖌️
- Decorated my front entrance with lamps for Diwali 🪔
- Made a simple but delicious South Indian home cooked meal 🍚
- And took my cat to the vet 🐱
The last one wasn’t fun but everything else made the week a nice one.

An arrangement of lit lamps adorn the front stoop in celebration of Diwali, the Festival of Lights An assortment of dishes of southern Indian origin along with rice A tentative looking cat sitting in its pet carrier.

I was inspired to #draw a #Harpy - a mythical creature that is usually described as a bird with a woman’s head. However I took liberties with my version. I’d love some feedback on what legs go better on this creature though!
