Also, in my opinion, the building isn’t the prettiest. Here’s a promotional rendering.

Well that was fast! With Pryor illegally serving as Commerce Secretary, we’re back to corporate welfare for luxury housing.

Everyone who joins in these attacks is betraying the Democratic Party. Especially if you do it by saying explicitly that Trump’s attacks are not just correct but will win him votes.

Here’s how my son sees me.

Today is a beautiful day to support the @seiu.org 1199 workers of Butler Hospital on the picket line. (Jakey had fun playing under the trees.)
June 6, 2025 at 4:48 PM
We just passed Chairwoman Murray’s bill to remove the cap on rooftop solar.

I'm also very concerned about this change. Hopefully, it is unintentional, but I think it's important to restore the "only" clause.

It seems like a bunch of banks amended their returns after we passed that law to say they wildly overpaid their taxes. Coincidence?
May 10, 2025 at 1:41 AM
OH MY GOD: In November, they projected that RI bank taxes would bring in $39.5 million in FY25. Now, they're projecting just $12.3 million. I don't know what happened. But last June, I do remember warning that banks would exploit loopholes in the bank tax cut.

We just elected the first progressive President of the Rhode Island Senate. Congratulations, President Val Lawson! It is such an honor to be here on this historic day.
April 29, 2025 at 9:36 PM
Great to be here with @davidhogg.bsky.social supporting building a strong Democratic Party that actually fights.

Here’s Mark Crisafuli, the chair of the I-195 Commission, at the Providence Chamber “legislative luncheon.” Why is a state board sponsoring a corporate lobbying group? They even bought a table! Did they spend public money on it?
March 12, 2025 at 4:45 PM
At the Providence Chamber of Commerce legislative luncheon, RI Energy is a “Presenting Sponsor.” They’re our ratepayer money on funding a corporate lobbying group. The PUC could stop it, but they don’t.
March 12, 2025 at 4:37 PM
We had fun at the parade today. I always love walking through our beautiful city. Jakey and @sweiser.bsky.social met me at the statehouse to watch the rest of it go by. Jakey was very excited.

Thank you to all our constituents who came to the community meeting on resisting Trump and his fascist agenda @davidmoralesri.bsky.social and I held. It was great to hear from so many neighbors who are fired up to fight. Because America is worth fighting for.

This op-ed doesn’t put you to sleep. It only moderately understates how bad things are. It shows @reed.senate.gov knows how to do better. Now, let’s bring this same energy to the rest of what he says. And his votes. Especially his votes.
February 26, 2025 at 10:48 PM
Honestly, a great statement from @ridemparty.bsky.social Chair Liz Beretta-Perik. And I say that as someone who’s been vocally critical of our state party for not fighting the GOP when the way they’ve fought progressives proves they know perfectly well how to fight.
February 26, 2025 at 9:18 PM
The strongest language I’ve seen from @SenJackReed in days is…retweeting a tweet from one of his colleagues who’s so moderate that he runs as an independent.

(And, no, Angus King isn’t rejecting the Democratic Party from the left.)
February 21, 2025 at 3:43 AM
The closer a Democrat in the US Senate comes to telling the truth about how bad these guys are, the better.
February 21, 2025 at 3:33 AM
Our country is burning. Time for @reed.senate.gov
to get over his addiction to sleepy, mild-mannered rhetoric.
February 19, 2025 at 12:27 AM
Woah. Tonight, Councilwoman Jo-Ann Ryan introduced a resolution in favor of legislation to allow Providence to raise property taxes higher than the state limit on tax increases—without even seeing the text of the bill! Please call your councilor and ask them to oppose it.

I will DM you. But I also just want to flag that it was just pulled from the agenda.

Proud of the RI Senate for voting down a resolution praising Trump yesterday. Thank you to all my colleagues who voted no, especially to Majority Leader Val Lawson for her leadership. See how your Senators voted in this photo from the ProJo’s Patrick Anderson.

Here's the resolution praising Trump the RI House of Representatives plans on voting on today at 4pm. At 5pm, Trump plunges America into chaos, including state governments.
