CONFIRMED: Philippe Clement is #NCFC’s new head coach. He signs a four-year deal through to 2029. Big coup for City when you look at his prior experience, but he’s got a big job on his hands to turn their season around.

#NCFC have completed the signing of Pelle Mattsson from Silkeborg for an initial £2.7m, rising to £3m. Someone they’ve tracked for a long while and moved quickly back to with Marcelino Núñez joining Ipswich. Mattsson signs a three-year deal with a club option.

#NCFC have completed the signing of Pelle Mattsson from Silkeborg for an initial £2.7m, rising to £3m. Someone they’ve tracked for a long while and moved quickly back to with Marcelino Núñez joining Ipswich. Mattsson signs a three-year deal with a club option.
There it is. Confirmation of perhaps the most controversial #NCFC transfer story in recent memory. Hard to argue with the £10m fee, but there will still be many City fans who will feel that Ben Knapper shouldn’t have picked up the phone. Will be an interesting reunion.

Should be an interesting one tonight. Plenty of exciting players, particularly in that forward line, and a chance for #NCFC to get a first home win without much pressure. A good test for many of the players on the fringes of Liam Manning’s squad.

Back at Carrow Road ahead of what should be a good test of where #NCFC are. A couple of decent performances on the road, but whether they can back it up today will tell us a lot about their promotion credentials.

Very positive feeling around #NCFC as we leave Fratton Park. There was a real spring in the step of the club’s staff, players and head coach on the way out. Still some issues to sort out, but they’ve proven in the last week that they can now mix it up away from home.
