I've paid £500 to mostly play games I could've still been playing on a PS4 or a Switch.

I suppose that's nice in some ways it's nice for people who haven't even bought one.

My take from playing them all recently is Mass Effect Andromeda would be a pretty decent third person shooter if it wasn't for everything else in it.

That's certainly not true of the new version, they put so much more in it. Didn't feel as though it's padded out at least.

Maybe when I have 6 minutes to kill I'll load up the original game.

It's a nice way to play it even if the conveniences maybe sand off a tiny bit of what it was before. Will admit though I still had plenty of tense tactical encounters in this one, so that's not lost.

They've filled in blanks that the original game left to the imagination and honestly it's changed the experience quite a lot.

I think I became a Metallica person because all of the places I listened to rock/metal often played their music, but almost never Megadeth.
