Super low level but PureData was used for Spores soundtrack. Unity and Godot both have integrations.

This brings back childhood memories of how easy the Marathon level editor. You’d texture the world by just walking around in it. We didn’t have mouse wheels back then to pan and zoom around so it made sense.

It’s getting used a ton. Just as optimizations in traditional workflows. So it’s hiding in plain sight.

Also my feeling is most devs are waiting for a local but good llm that’s small enough to be shipped in a game client before investing time in crazy gameplay ideas.

Another workaround is to write and register a small toolscript that extends SphereMesh and adds one extra export var that controls both size and radius.

I wrote one for 3.X but discords native sdk was buggy and it seemed like they weren’t investing much in it (cutting big features like SKUs, bindings with stupid mistakes that clearly hadn’t been tested).

Discord had a simple socket protocol for presence though you could try yourself.
