For funghi friday have a funky looking Gyromitra esculenta. Right now it is -20C outside, but in a three months time we can find these deadly delights again.

I have heard you can get rid of the toxins by drying them, but I am too scared of a painful death so I boil them 2-3 times.

Universities in Europe have started to offer asylums for US researchers to continue their work in case they are getting defunded and fired. At least France, Belgium, Netherlands and Finland are offering positions and support, academic freedom and funding.
