The major platforms (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter, etc) have actively and dishonestly fostered this misunderstanding by folding LLMs into search. AI is presented as "results" just like old-fashioned search. (Tech journal should obviously know better.)

I bought two books today. One is a 490-page novel set in Times Roman. The other was set (in Bembo!) with ligatures (which absolutely needs ligatures!) turned off. What the hell is happening to book designers.

Can someone at @bsky.app please fix the spacing to be more equal between icons? Even allowing for multi-digit counts, it's distractingly awkward.

I'm so sorry, Ryan -- this is so hard. We have a similar situation of a senior dog whose mobility has declined significantly in the last 6 months. I am sure Millie feels only love for your whole family. Silas sends his love too!

We had a scare this week with Silas while he was away at dog camp. He seems to be on the mend thanks to some great vets in Plains PA and here at home. It's the first time @ruinista.bsky.social and I truly thought we could lose him and it was devastating. One of the best, he is.
