Happy gotcha day to this sweet, crazy, incredible boy. I brought him home a month after I got divorced via zoom in the middle of a pandemic and just a week after my grandfather died. The joy and support he has brought to our lives cannot be truly conveyed in words.

Went to the gym and literally did 1000 steps in the stair master, some reps on the chest press, tanned, and then left. That counts for something, right?

While sitting with Nic in the ER, this couple came in. She was sick, he was not. The entire time we were in the waiting room, he sat that and played on his phone, barely paying her any attention. It’s so weird to me how you can be in a relationship with someone and just not pay attention them

As an update: he’s back home and resting since Friday night. Antibiotics are taking longer to kick in due to post treatment Lyme and some other health factors. When it rains it pours.
I know I’ve been kinda MIA here for a variety of reasons but I’m headed to the hospital to meet my husband who went this morning after an emergency surgery earlier this week. Positive vibes would be greatly appreciated.
