@mattbishopmp.bsky.social - these contracts are a disaster in the making. We can't rely on the US as an ally ever again.

Ignore the headline and read the actual article.

It's incredibly grim to see how pathetically unambitious Labour's plans for Brexit are, and how little change they think they need to promise in the next parliament to win back voters.

There's a lot of anti-health, anti-vaccination rhetoric and policy in the US. Some of this misinformation and disinformation influences what happens in the UK.

And that affects us all.

A lot of people blaming Burnham for Labour’s current mess. Shock, horror, a politician is personally ambitious. Very.

But (and it’s a big but), the fault really lies with Starmer. He’s created this situation by choosing a path most natural Labour supporters hate, sunk in the polls.

It’s on him.

Blocking Andy Burnham from standing is not putting the country before the party. It’s not even the best decision for the party. Starmer is ultimately prioritising his job. A job he is doing badly. Which will result in Britain falling to the far right.

Absolutely unforgivable.

This is so indicative of how Labour prioritise internal struggles over all else. Whatever the merits of Burnham running, if Labour now lose the by-election this decision will backfire. They might think they can live with Reform taking the seat but that is reckless thinking. I'll laugh if Greens win.

Visits by the King or political leaders US should be cancelled. It’s that simple - do not give credence to #BastardTrumps words or deeds by endorsing this lunatic and his tyranny.

And as for the World Cup, this should be relocated to Europe, we have the capability.
