Next was to actually enter the station and take my first ride on a legacy subway system, and my first ride on any rapid transit system outside of DC. The low roofs coupled with the old trains, made the vibes very different than what I’m used to.

Fox News reports that Trump suggested Canada become the 51st state to Canada’s Prime Minister J.Trudeau.

There are two responses to this:

First stop of the day was Chinatown Station! It’s in a really weird section of Center City, where there’s a ton of parking lots and not much foot traffic. No wonder it’s the least used septa subway station. I do like how they put the name in what I assume is Mandarin Chinese though.

Seeing the massive skyline for the first time from the train was pretty cool! This shot was taken between 30th st and suburban where we sat for like 5 mins. The anticipation was building!

I took the last @septaphilly.bsky.social train from Newark for the morning. Train left at 9:12am and got to Philly at 10:30, there are so many stations in PA that we stopped at! Video on Newark station coming soon!
