The future of Gaza’s 650,000 children are in UNRWA’s hands.

Along with other MEPs I met with UNRWA’s chief of staff Ben Majekodunmi today.

In two weeks the despicable Israeli law effectively banning UNRWA comes into effect.

It cannot be allowed to proceed.

Let’s put a new generation in Dáil Éireann Limerick. Vote Conor Sheehan number one tomorrow.

@conorsheehan.bsky.social is in with a great chance of returning a Labour TD for our city - but every possible vote will be needed to make it happen.

Polls open at 7am!

He asked Dan Jørgensen what his proposals are to work towards this goal:

Depressing that the member states are now the ones pushing for more action on the climate crisis than the European Parliament - for the first time ever.

This is what a parliament dominated by FG’s EPP looks like.
European Union member countries are set to oppose a push by the European Parliament to water down the new anti-deforestation rules.

The decision is a slap in the face to the center-right European People’s Party, which proposed the changes.

Calling media lawyers on here. I believe the Irish party Sinn Fein may in breech of the European Media Freedom Act in its proposals to commission a review of RTÉ's objectivity in its international coverage.

As expected, there was no consensus among EU foreign ministers to agree to outgoing EU high representative for foreign policy Josep Borrell's proposal to suspend political dialogue with Israel, over its conduct of the Gaza War
