A few days ago, I watched the @techconnectify.bsky.social video on closed captions on DVD players. Today I came across a digital TV modulator with both HDMI and a suspicious "caption" port. Would connecting a DVD player to both ports cause the modulated upscaled image to have the captions?

If they can install a street light they can make it a street light that also charges a car.

Also some solutions aren't going to work for everyone and that doesn't mean they should be abandoned in favor of more perfect things that are yet to exist.
