Not convinced the priapic towers in the City compete with any meaningful way with the beautiful real architecture of London. But this far away I don’t mind them.

Actually would be only £65 now. Less agitated and more annoyed at how little that was and is. Though I suspect £15 in 1980 would go a lot further than £65 does today.

I spotted Pam Hogg working on a reconstruction of her original market stall when she was just starting out. I’m so glad I had a chance to talk to her, even briefly, about her remarkable life story.
