Hey Ryan! as a reporter I’m sure you care about accuracy here. I was removed for one specific reason - because I brought press on ridealongs, on the condition that no other observer be revealed. This was common practice and my local network actually set up a ridealong for me with the Atlantic.
Will Stancil getting thrown out of the ICE signal chat for being annoying (and apparently not following the rules?) was always the way this was destined to end

"If ICE murdering people in the streets doesn’t warrant immediate relief, what does? The most facile — but nonetheless true — answer is that the Supreme Court can do whatever it wants, but other courts can’t."
Lower courts can't fix what's broken in Minnesota
But a functioning Congress could.

As a fellow Tucsonan, i wholeheartedly concur, and I live on the freaking south side
I live about a mile from Nancy Guthrie’s home. I haven’t commented on it since we became aware she missing because I don’t know any more than anyone else does.

But I will say that it is truly astonishing how many people think that Tucson is awash in cartel violence. We most definitely are not.

man i really hope your wrong
Dipshit Donnie just said he is sending "ALL" law enforcement to look for Nancy Guthrie. They are on their way to Tucson apparently to cause more chaos. 🤷🏽
“The Trump administration will immediately remove 700 federal law enforcement officers from Minnesota, border czar Tom Homan said Wednesday, leaving about 2,000 officers in the state.”

That is false. Most people have no real sense of what they pay over time. There is no process by which all of our false intuitions and misconceptions average out to a rough approximation of the truth.
not to say people don't get a lot of information through vague narratives, but people very much are aware of what they pay for things over time. They know what their groceries cost every week and when other bills rise.
Fun fact: most people have no good way to tell if inflation is moderate or low or nonexistent, and that means their experience of inflation is almost entirely mediated through social narratives they encounter in politics/media.

This is the same guy who convinced Nick Shirley to come to Minnesota and "investigate" the daycare centers. He's the main guy in the video with Shirley and is a known crackpot in Minnesota political circles.
a Republican witness in the GOP's "Somali Scammers" hearing details how he drives by childcare centers and looks at how many footprints in the snow there are to determine how many kids are there. Psycho stuff.

One for the ages.
If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff.

OMG. He literally went with "they were no angels" which is the mocking phrase people use to point out how authorities try to minimize their law enforcement executions. And he's using it earnestly because he doesn't realize how it's actually used.

God only knows how much damage they’ll do before they’re stopped, much of it irreversible
