I was thinking more along the lines of 'energy'. In a chemical reaction, change happens but the same amount of energy still exists. If I understood chemistry correctly! :) So even though a life altering event changes the nervous system, one's 'soul' is still whole. #spiritchat

This was not pastel but white charcoal pencil, used 3 types: hard, medium, and soft. This is a completely smooth sheet of paper anf I have not yet tried pastels on it but was thinking about it earlier today! I imagine it would need better paper in order to build multiple layers of color with pastels

I haven't set it yet. This first part is with white charcoal and tomorrow I am going to strengthen highlights with a white China Marker. Haven't decided what I will use to fix it yet.
