I'm another Deinonychus fan, to the point where it became the basis for my dinosaur themed superhero, Scales.

I would regularly check out the dinosaur and ice age megafauna books from my elementary school library, and the deinonychus one was one of my favorites.

The end of volume 7 through all of volume 8 is kind of "We haven't dumped this much trauma since the end of volume 3 " levels of writing. Volume 9 is a real treat, though.

Doesn't necessarily mean a c9mplete reboot - Kelvin Universe TNG is probably the most obvious next step.

I wonder how much of this is a puritanical streak and how much is just the first generation to grow up with a distinction between "personal screens" and "shared screens" deciding that Horns stuff is for the private screen.

I remember being taught in my portfolio class that we had to apply design to make our resumes stand out, and now it's "IF this is anything more complex than a .txt file, the robots will have a panic attack."
