Today's purchase from our day out. Monopoly for the gameboy. Feels more advanced than the nes port, but I haven't played that in like 20 years. Had a very fun time slowly crushing the computer player to dust under the weight of my hotels. Seems to have some alternate rules games in here too.

Went back and bought more plastic boats from that yard sale. Spent all evening yesterday putting them together, and all morning battling my dad on the kitchen table. I lost. That's normal though. He's ruthless and I'm chaotic, that usually ends up as me losing. More risks, more fun.

They definitely are that too! Yeah there's even like everything you need to play a small game in the one pack. Including a die that's about half the size of a tic tac

Today's Listens! Had kind of a long day, but that means lots of music! Standout was Cosmic Horror by Groove Crusader, which is Doctor Sung of TWRP. It's a really fun sci fi horror themed synth EP, really short, really good.

(2/2) Even organizing my music library as clunkily as I am is nostalgic as hell, and just makes it all the more satisfying when I finally figure out why a song is being put in the wrong folder. Overall, I really recommend trying to recapture an older relationship with music. Even casually.

(1/2) I'm a few days into having replaced Spotify with an mp3 player, and I have to say my enjoyment of music has really improved. Not only am I getting much better quality when I use good headphones, but even with my cheapies for work, the overall experience is just better. More personal.
