👋🏼 assistant prof of health & culture living in NYC. I'm a critical health communication scholar who focuses on mental health, suicide, and disability/Mad justice. I like to run my mouth about why the US needs to reform how we deal with suicidality.

NYC flooding responses:

Governor of NY: "This is officially a State of Emergency. Stay home!"

NYC Emergency Management: "Travel advisory in effect! Stay home!"

MTA: "The subway is flooded! Stay home!"

University officials: "Don't get hit by a tree on your way in."
