Just mentioned this today in classes. The difference is 2k for ~305 million (remove top 10% of americans) is 600 billion. Tariffs will generate ~300 billion this year. Obviously we have enough tariff $ to fund the whole govt and give 2k to each non-rich person. I support this wealth redistribution
