I straight up don’t get any satisfaction from just doing things anymore. I only derive any sort of enjoyment or dopamine from doing something well, or feeling like I did a job right.

Like for example, even just losing a gunfight in a videogame registers as a total failure cuz my goal was to win the gunfight. I doesn’t matter how unevenly stacked we are in skill, it’s just how my brain works.

I do care. But it also sometimes just kinda feels like a waste of time to make something that will barely ever be seen. I know it’s not actually the case, but man does it feel kinda rough.
