A 5.9% Porter from Seattle, Washington.
To me, this tasted like a cold burnt coffee. Was not a fan of them. Also before this I had tried an alcohol free free that wasn’t great even but I’d rather have that than this again & will be reflected in my score

An IPA from Tampa, Florida that I’ve had before in Florida back in 2023.
Still as nice as I remember it from then. Hoppy, citrusy & sweet. Just missing the sun.

A pumpkin ale from Westminster, Massachusetts
All the spice from a pumpkin pie with all the strong burning of those spices too. I wish it could be better.

Peanut Butter Milk Stout from Longmont, Colorado
The smell from the can definitely was a peanut butter cup smell, but the taste was lacking. Sweet for sure, but not that peanut buttery.

A hazy IPA from Kehei, Hawaii!
Tropically Fruity and sweet tasting. I would LOVE to be drinking this at the beach under a palm tree… or in an air conditioned bar at least

A Belgium Blonde ale from Salt Lake City, Utah.
Definitely tastes like a Belgium beer. Strong and wheaty tasting. Could maybe pair well with a nutty cheese.

A classic malty ale that I could happy have as a session ale if it was the only thing on.

A Porter from Cleveland, Ohio
A lighter dark ale compared to yesterday’s stout but still not really to my taste. Bitter, dark roasted coffee flavour.

An 11% Imperial Stout from Lexington, Kentucky.
Probably the worse beer I’m gonna taste in this advent box but that’s because I don’t like stouts in general. But this to me was the worse tastes of a stout times by 2!
I personally give this 0.5 bottle caps out of 5.

A 7% Red IPA from Eugene, Oregon.
Doesn’t really taste like a 7% beer but I think UK ABV is measured different compared to US ABV
A pretty simple IPA, wouldn’t mind that on a night out.

There’s was a light aftertaste of apricot on each sip, but I’m not sure if my glass caused it to be flat

A sweet & malty one, but still a lager nonetheless.

A brown ale brewed with Pecans from Louisiana.
I had a Chestnut brown ale on Sunday that was noticeably nutty tasted, but this one didn’t really have any flavour of pecans. You could maybe convince yourself there’s a maple flavour but not enough

Our first Christmas themed beer from the calendar from San Francisco and it’s 7.9%!
It reminded me of a winter ale I had in Oslo, Norway. Some spice flavour to it, but have to warm the beer in your mouth to actually taste any.

Visually hazy, tastes dry & a little citrusy. A summer on this would be dangerous.

Blackberry Lemon Sour ale from Boulder, Colorado.
Dunno if keeping it in the fridge all day reduced the sour taste to it, but it wasn’t that sour or tart as expected, quite pleasant to drink but don’t want a night on it.

Better than the beer yesterday though.

A dark ale that tastes like a coffee stout but due to be canned in August tasted quite metallic from the can
