The audio quality is terrible, the broadcast is terrible, the crowd is so dull. I'm barely even paying attention to the game tonight, it's just not a fun watch. The combination of neutral location plus this broadcast team is so bad.

Yup. A Rosario/McMahon platoon at 3B works for me

my college adopted it very recently as well, and this is not filling me with a lot of confidence 😬

also, been reading @victorerikray.bsky.social 's book On Critical Race Theory and Bonilla-Silva's Racism Without Racists, both are excellent in terms of talking about colorblind racism/the use of ostensibly-race neutral language in contexts like these. (can you tell I'm working a lot with RR, lol)

bring the purse, your accommodation comes first.

if someone brings it up, just hope they've seen Futurama.

"why does dani's purse, the largest purse, not simply eat the other purses?"

I really like this piece on the role/relevance of race in 'turn back the clocks' nostalgia. (this is specific to the conservative legal movement fighting school integration, but it's a good example on using ostensibly race-neutral language/standards to keep a segregated status quo)

I lived in downtown Indianapolis for several years, and I have never seen such bad/frequent potholes anywhere else (i'll also note that I lived in Mumbai for a few years in the 90s, so that's my other comparison point for terrible roads)

Mets could sign Goldschmidt, continue their run of getting ex-Yankees, and we could really see the fanbase melt down getting a declining/now barely above replacement 1B to replace Alonso. Cmon Mets!

Trump's physical health is so good, if it was a MLB player it'd be Jacoby Ellsbury

I find it sad because it is embarrassing lolsob

It would be very funny if I didn't find it so embarrassing.

Sigh, this team
